Overview Game Delay is a Chrome browser extension that hides sports scores and results on websites until the user is ready to see them. This Privacy Policy explains what information the extension accesses and how it is handled. The short version: Game Delay does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data or browsing information. Everything stays on your device.

Information We Do Not Collect Game Delay does not collect any of the following: Your browsing history or the URLs of pages you visit The content of web pages you view Personal information of any kind (name, email, location, etc.) Analytics, usage statistics, or crash reports Any information about what teams or sports you track No data is ever transmitted to any server, third party, or external service. The extension operates entirely within your browser.

Information Stored Locally Game Delay stores the following information locally on your device using Chrome’s built-in storage API (chrome.storage.local): The names of teams and competitions you have chosen to block Which teams you have marked as “caught up” Your selected sports preferences in the extension popup This information is stored solely on your device and is used only to determine which content to hide as you browse. It is never transmitted anywhere and is deleted if you uninstall the extension.

Website Access Game Delay requests permission to access all websites (). This permission is required so the extension can scan pages for sports content as you browse — without it, the extension cannot function on news sites, search engines, or social media. This access is used only to read the visible text content of web pages in order to identify mentions of tracked teams. The extension does not read form data, passwords, payment information, or any other sensitive content.

Third-Party Services Game Delay does not integrate with, communicate with, or send data to any third-party services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or external APIs.

Children’s Privacy Game Delay does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The extension does not collect personal data from any user regardless of age. Changes to This Policy If this Privacy Policy changes in a future version of the extension, the updated policy will be made available at the same URL and the “Last updated” date above will be revised. Continued use of the extension after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
